Aiming to improve the services provided to its clients, in April 2020, 3R – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, began the project of digitalizing the collections. Since April 1st, the company’s drivers in Maputo and Matola have been using tablets to perform daily tasks.
Through an application, each driver receives his daily collections with all pertinent information. Upon reaching the client, the activity begins and the time of service is counted. Then the client validates the collection with a digital signature. Finally, the client receives in his email the proof of the collection made.
The system, which will be integrated with the segregation of waste in the company’s Material Recovery Centers, will minimize errors, create efficiencies, improving the quality and transparency of services provided.
